Tribunal

Edo Japan Kitamachi

That was the last day of my life and I sat in that room surrounded by strangers, lost in a sea of words I didn’t understand. That was the last time I was asked a question, the last time I looked at them, my verdict flickering in their eyes. The sun was shining, I remember it well. They dragged me when I wanted to walk. They pulled me when I wanted to cherish my last seconds, a handful of only a few seconds. Terror will now unfold before everyone’s gaze while I rot and swing abandoned.
